After their meeting by the sea, George and Matilda have a country wedding and travel to the town where they find a home in an abandoned Dolls’ House hidden in a garden. They battle with a cat for survival but George discovers a dustbin containing lots of intriguing things for a mouse to use. With their new friends they celebrate the birth of their five babies at Christmas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
George and Matilda’s second Christmas is spent back at home in the country after a perilous journey from the town to save the George’s parents from disaster.
